Distribution Transformers

For over 40 years, our company has manufactured thousands of utility, industrial, and renewable distribution transformers for North America and surrounding areas. Our US based distribution transformer facilities specialize in three-phase, liquid filled units with a max top rating of 10MVA.

WEG currently holds contracts with multiple utility customers, and consistently helps transform power for large cities and rural areas across the nation. WEG also manufactures units for large wind/solar farms, as the renewable energy market continues to experience record growth.

At WEG, we have always believed in “doing it better.” All products, processes, and developments focus on improving quality and efficiency. The demand for distribution transformers is at an all-time high! In 2021, we plan to expand our manufacturing capacity by opening a second factory dedicated to manufacturing low KVA distribution transformers.

Power Transformers

Since 2010, WEG has manufactured hundreds of Power Transformers for customers throughout North America. We have two facilities serving the North American Market specializing in three-phase, liquid filled transformers with a top rating of 350 MVA, with one facility in Washington, MO and one facility in Huehuetoca, Mexico.

WEG’s US based Power Transformer factory focuses on units up to 161kV with a top rating of 100 MVA. This facility heavily focuses on the Utility Market across the United States, and manufactures units for Industrial and Renewable customers. WEG has significantly invested in our Power Transformer factory since 2010. We continue to develop both the Transformer Technology and Manufacturing Technology to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers

WEG will always deliver improved technology and manufacturing systems to the market, but we will always remain focused on making it easy for our customers to do business with WEG, from the moment we receive a request for quotation until the transformer has exceeded its useful life. WEG Will!
